This Brass Ferrule is used in conjunction with the Rigid Brake Pipe to compensate for the deeper bore occasionally found on some Brembo 08 Calipers.

The threaded nut depth fitted to a new Rigid Brake Pipe measures 13mm from under the hex to the end of the nut. If the nut on the existing Rigid Brake Pipe is longer than 13mm then the new Rigid brake Pipe may not seal adequately and will require the positioning of this Ferrule into the bore, before fitting the new Rigid Brake Pipe, to make up for the extra depth required.
