Book: MOTO LAVERDA
Product Description
Moto Laverda was a leading figure in world motorcycling at the dawn of the Superbike era, during the 1970s and 1980s. Under the leadership of Massimo Laverda, the Breganze-based manufacturer was consistently at the forefront of sports motorcycle development. Since 1950, Laverda had chosen to prove the worth of its products by competing in endurance races such as the Milano-Taranto and the Motogiro d’Italia; later, the debut of the 750 SFC in 1971 saw it dominate the demanding 24-hour races of the time.
Thanks to the Laverda family, the author of this book, Alan Cathcart, had the honour of riding many of the most important motorcycles produced by this manufacturer, including the legendary V6. The story of this machine, along with many others that have shaped the history of the brand, is told in this treasured volume.
This is a prestige edition, printed on quality paper in large format (30×23 cm), 176 pages with hardcover binding. Text in Italian and English, limited and numbered print run of 1,000 copies.
