DUST Seals, sometimes referred to as DUST SLEEVES, are fitted to the fork slider in addition to the Fork Seals as the first defence against water and road grime.

Ariete has worked hard to produce a special rubber compound which tolerates the chemical additives used in fork oil and refined the design of the DUST SEAL LIPS which have a ground finish. This offers complete control of the varying internal pressure as the fork is alternately extended and compressed, with no loss of lubricant.
Each kit comprises 2 dust seals and comes complete with a sachet of Arisil grease. This grease has been specially developed for lubricating reciprocating metal-rubber contact areas, reducing friction at the point of contact and increasing the life expectancy of the components involved.
