Ignitech produce 3 types of capacitive type ignitions with sub categories according to the bike’s power supply.
- Only DC 12 V powered (need battery) - DCCDI, DCCDIP, DCCDIP2, DCCDIP4
- Low voltage AC generator or DC powered - ADCCDI. ADCCDIP, DCCDIP1 race
- High voltage AC generator powered - ACCDI, ACCDIP
It is important to give as much information about your existing ignition and bike model as possible when ordering.
This unit is a Programmable capacitive ignition for motorbikes supplied by 12 V.
Ignition unit DCCDIP1 (race) is good way for users needing advanced functions and setting compared to units DCCDIP and DCCDIP2. Ignition unit is fully programmable by software DCCDIP1 race.EXE. Software includes two advance maps or curves, options for blocking, revolution limiter, servo etc. Unit is more sophisticated when compared to the DCCDIP.
Unit can be powered from low voltage AC stator (some bikes without battery) or from DC 12V (bikes with battery).
The ignition unit is in plastic box 85x67x26 mm with 34-pin sealed connector JAE MX23A. Note that this connector is very difficult for crimp. This is not possible to crimp without a special tool. Ignitech offer a basic harness for connection of this unit with all wires with pins crimped. Length is 1.3 m.
The DCCDIP1 (race) ignition is made in many versions for individual bike types. Please include a note with your bike model when ordering.
5K Ohm Resistor plug caps are required to avoid damage to the Ignition unit.
