The Custom Connection Cable that comes with this unit is configured to plug directly into the bike's original wiring loom. It has a pre-programmed dyno developed ignition curve and rev limiter specifically for the 1996 Yamaha TRX 850. This Ignition curve and functions are fully programmable using Computer Software. Software control includes advance map or curve, options for blocking, rev limiter etc.This Ignitech SPARKER TCIP4 ignition is equipped with 4 inputs for Pickups suitable for 1, 2, or 4 cylinder engines and 180 Degree 3cylinder engines.

Input for throttle position sensor or inlet air pressure sensor, two multifunctional switch inputs (for blocking, kill switch, retard etc), output for tachometer, two multifunction switch outputs (for fuel pump relay, gear shift light etc)
This SPARKER TCIP4 ignition is 4-channel.

The ignition unit is constructed in a plastic box 85x67x26 mm with a 20-pin connector. A Racing Wiring Loom is available.

Generic multi-pin spade connectors are fitted so it can be a simple installation to your existing wiring in most instances. 

5K Ohm Resistor plug caps or R (resistor) type spark plug are required (but not both together) to avoid damage to the Ignition unit.
